On the CMA
With my background in engineering, logistics, and operations, I am fascinated by how things work. I care about why someone buys something and how a product works most to benefit the consumer. I see marketing as a big puzzle and the CMA gives me the tools I need to solve it.
My Bio
Undergraduate: Purdue University, Industrial Management Engineering
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
Internship: Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati, Ohio
I’m a big-city person who loves the energy of Bloomington. I know I can work beyond the Midwest if I choose. Companies that recruit here come from all over.
I’ve even been able to take on a leadership role as the Vice President for Professional Development in our class. I wanted to help other classmates land internships, so a group of students and I organized a crash course on interview preparation. We developed a buddy system that paired students who had internships with students who were still looking, and it’s been incredibly successful.
My classes and professors have prepared me for my internship by helping me stay current with trends in the market. They’ve expanded my network, encouraged me to keep in touch with alumni, and allowed me to work on projects that are similar to what I’ll be doing this summer at P&G.
At Kelley, you can pave your own path and take the classes you desire. You can take on leadership roles, study abroad, and push yourself in ways you never thought possible.
