Students
Service Learning
Each summer the Center pays one student to intern at a Bloomington-area nonprofit retail organization. The purpose of this service-learning internship is twofold: to teach students about nonprofit retailing and to assist local nonprofit organizations.
The student spends half of his or her time working in the store, and half researching the organization—including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats—and creating a marketing plan for the organization. In addition to a salary, the student earns course credit.
Contact us if you are interested in this internship. All students are invited to apply, but preference will be given to graduate students, particularly Kelley MBA students.
