Philip M. Podsakoff is the John F. Mee Chair of Management at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He received his doctoral degree from Indiana University, and joined the faculty at Kelley after teaching for two years on the faculty at the Ohio State University. He is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of Management, where he served as a Chair of the Research Methods Group. His major research interests include transformational leadership processes, "substitutes" for leadership, antecedents and consequences of organizational citizenship behaviors, and research methods. He is the author of over 80 scholarly book chapters and articles that have been published in a variety of journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Leadership Quarterly, Personnel Psychology, Annual Review of Psychology, Research in Organizational Behavior, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, MIS Quarterly, and Psychological Bulletin. According to the Institute of Scientific Information, Professor Podsakoff is a co-author of two the 10 most-cited articles in the field of management. He has received 22 teaching awards, including the Student Advisory Council Award, MBA Teaching Excellence Award, MBA Student’s Choice Award, Ph.D. Exceptional Inspiration and Guidance Award, Ph.D. Distinguished Teaching Award, Max Barney Executive Education Teaching Award, and the Teaching Excellence Recognition Award. Professor Podsakoff currently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology. In addition to his research, writing, and teaching activities, he has taught in over 450 executive education programs
