In 2008-09, the Investment Banking Workshop placed 62 graduating seniors in investment banking or investment management positions and 42 juniors in similar internships.

    • Prerequisite: A100, A201, A202, K201, L201, C204, C104, ECON E201, G202, E370, ENG W131, MATH M118, M119 (all with a grade of C or better). C: J370, M370, P370.
    Cross-functional survey of business management. The finance component provides an introduction into basic principles and perspectives of financial thought. Covered topics include the time value of money, risk and return, interest rates and debt risk, capital budgeting, security pricing, and portfolio concepts. Includes a cross-functional case done in teams.
