Samantha Simielli Guerreiro is currently a 1st year MBA student at the Kelley School of Business, pursuing a major in Marketing. She was born and raised in Brazil and has lived in Argentina and the United States. She has a bachelor's degree in International Relations, fluency in Portuguese, English, and conversational Spanish.
Having spent most of her career as a sales professional at Procter & Gamble Brazil, Samantha has over 4 years of work experience in multinational companies. At P&G Brazil, Samantha greatly developed her leadership skills when she took on the role of supervisor for the Pharmacy Program, leading a team of 120 salespeople. Her success as supervisor allowed her to gain greater responsibilities and put her in charge of the key accounts in the pharmacy industry in both retail and wholesale markets. Very goal oriented and with great analytical skills, Samantha became an expert in developing Joint Business Plans for her clients and managing business development funds. Her experiences at P&G inspired her to enroll in a top MBA program to further develop those skills with a focus on Consumer Marketing.
While preparing to start business school, Samantha was offered the opportunity to join Ernst & Young as a TAX Trainee, where she acquired deep insights on accounting, international tax regulations and VAT modeling. After obtaining her MBA, she intends to leverage her international background and work experience to pursue a career in marketing, focusing on Brand Management positions.
Deeply passionate about sports, Samantha is the author of an award winning bachelorís thesis about the influences of sports in corporate strategy, with a case study on Formula 1 racing. She participates regularly in short races and is currently training for her first half marathon.
