Henrique Koch is an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is planning to major in Finance and pursue a career in the intersection of corporate finance and international development.
Henrique has over 10 years’ experience in the financial industry and he has spent his entire career with the largest financial institution in Latin America, Banco do Brasil, first as a Credit analyst and in the past 5 years as an Equity Research analyst. During those years, he had the chance to learn about different and important sectors of the economy such as Food Services and Production, Banking, Real Estate, and Steel and Mining. He was the bank’s lead analyst in 2012’s most important Capital Markets deal in Brazil (US$ 2 billion raised), the IPO of BTG Pactual, the largest local independent Investment Bank.
Henrique holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Banking, both from Universidade Mackenzie in Sao Paulo. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish; has advanced knowledge of German; and is currently learning French. Besides learning foreign languages, his hobbies are running and open water swimming.
