Your organization has many opportunities for involvement with the expert faculty and talented students at Indiana University’s world-class Kelley School of Business.
IMA is developing a practitioner-focused research program in which Kelley faculty members and doctoral students will investigate issues of importance to IMA member organizations. We also invite IMA members to consider research projects that are independent of IMA, in which Kelley faculty members can address topics of specific interest to your organization.

MSIS Capstone Sponsorship
IMA members receive preferential consideration for participation in Kelley’s Master of Science in Information Systems capstone projects. Each year, typically in the spring, 16 to 20 teams of four to five MSIS students participate in these semester-long, experiential projects in which they conduct research or solve business problems for sponsor organizations.
In a recent capstone, IMA member OneAmerica wanted to learn how it could better recruit undergraduate and master’s students—in part, by learning what today’s students want and expect from a job. Kelley MSIS students did research, interviews, and surveys to help OneAmerica change its message to students and recruit more effectively.
By participating in a capstone, you and your organization will:
- Get help solving a business problem or addressing a topic of importance
- Expand your resources in a cost-effective manner
- Work with a team of students chosen to match your project’s needs
- Invest in the education of, and develop relationships with, potential interns and employees
For more information about participating in a capstone project, contact Anthony Gerth at email@example.com or (812) 855-9978.
IMA members are often invited to speak in Kelley classes or to student organizations. If you are interested in discussing specific topics at Kelley, you can contact Anne Massey at firstname.lastname@example.org or (812) 855-3483.
