Phishing Scam in Progress
Nov 15, 2011
TOS would like to let everyone know there is another phishing scam making the rounds today - please note in the following example, the email address of the sender (in red) is actually a .com address. This is a blatant and obvious example of a scam type message.
Also, please note that no legitimate service provider will ever ask you for sensitive information like passwords, date of birth, etc. via an email message.
If anyone has responded to this, or any similar request for information, please be sure to:
Change your IU passphrase
Check your financial institutions for unauthorized activity
