Check for Bridge Network Connection: For Laptops Only
In order to determine if your system is running a network bridge or internet connection sharing, please open the control panel. If you have a standard laptop, click Start -› Settings -› Control Panel. Non-standard laptops may have the Control Panel icon in the Start Menu.
Once in the Control Panel, double-click on Network Connections (standard) or choose Network and Internet Connections and then click on Network Connections (non-standard).
Examine your network connections. If any of them show a network bridge (network bridge icon):
Or if they show sharing enabled (small open hand under the connection):
Please bring your laptop to the Helpdesk (CG0013) immediately if either of these settings is enabled on your system so we can remove them. Thank you.
