John H. Porter Community Service Award

Award Description:

This award is named for Dr. John H. Porter, former faculty member and Associate Dean of Students at Indiana University. Dr. Porter also served on the Monroe County Council and the Bloomington City Council, as well as being involved with his church and other community committees. The award is given by the Civic Leadership Development Program at the Kelley School of Business and honors him for his dedication to the school and community. The award recognizes the organization's Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Membership in Civic Leadership Development
  • Previous recipient of Jeffrey Maiatico Outstanding Volunteer of the Month award
