Kelley Alumni Reunion Weekend
If you are coming up on your 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25-year MBA reunion (or any year for that matter), are a Consortium Fellow, or are a past Kelley Scholar, please make plans now to be in Bloomington the weekend of September 27-28 for reminiscing, networking, and interaction with faculty and students at the annual Alumni Reunion Weekend!
Based on alumni feedback, we are excited to offer a new format for this year’s Reunion which will help make the most of your weekend in Bloomington. The new format includes great food, industry-based professional development sessions, interactive career advancement and networking opportunities, a presentation by Dean Kesner, and ample time to enjoy all the things you miss about Bloomington.
Casual attire is recommended for the weekend's events.
Included in your registration fee are two dinners with beer and wine and the Saturday brunch.
Friday - September 27

Alumni Presenter: Anton Vincent, MBA’93, President, Frozen Foods Division, General Mills, Minneapolis
Faculty Presenter: Tom Hustad, Professor Emeritus of Marketing, Kelley School of Business. Tom has also taught and advised 12 members of the Kelley Acadamy of Alumni Fellows.
Session Three: Entrepreneurship - Godfrey Center Room 1032
Alumni Presenter: Scott Dorsey, BS’89, Founder and CEO, ExactTarget, Indianapolis
Faculty Presenter: Greg Fisher, PhD, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, Kelley School of Business
5 p.m. - 8 p.m. – Happy Hour and BBQ Dinner with a live band - Godfrey Center Courtyard
Enjoy a casual BBQ-style get-together and have time to visit with your classmates, current Kelley Scholars, and other alumni before enjoying the rest of the night on your own. “Kirkwood will be calling your name.”
Saturday – September 28
9 a.m. - 10 a.m. – Behind-the-Scenes Hard-Hat Tour of Hodge Hall Construction and the Undergraduate Building Renovation (please wear closed-toe shoes) - Meet in Godfrey Center Room 2061
Take part in a behind-the-scenes tour of the building that will be housing the transformational undergraduate educational experience.
10:30 a.m - noon – Brunch with Beth Acton, MBA'76 - Godfrey Center Dining Room (Ground Floor)
Beth S. Acton, MBA’76, is past Corporate VP and Treasurer for Ford Motor Company, Retired Executive VP and CFO of Comerica Bank, and KSB Poling Chair of Business and Government.
12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. – Career Development and Networking - Godfrey Center Room 1056
Presentation Title: MBA Today at Kelley Program
Back by popular demand, Rebecca Cook, MBA’96, Associate Director of Graduate Career Services (GCS) and and Co-Director, Capital Markets Academy, MBA Program will introduce you to ME, Inc. – the new, unique and innovative career development curriculum designed and implemented by GCS that is praised by recruiters (Kelley MBA is ranked #1 by Bloomberg Businessweek for Career Services). She will suggest ways that you can incorporate techniques into your professional life. She will also share information about the Academies – still a differentiator among MBA programs; get an update on what drives our stellar career statistics for internships and full-time offers. Jonlee Andrews, PhD, Clinical Professor of Marketing, Nestle Faculty Fellow and MBA Program Chair will also give a short presentation on the Kelley MBA Program.
2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. – Free Afternoon
Make your own arrangements for golf, shopping, touring campus, wine tasting at Oliver (they now have a very hip location downtown), visiting the IU Art Museum, planning class activities, taking in some of the eclectic sounds of Lotus Festival, hiking, or boating at Lake Monroe...It's up to you, so have some fun!
5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. – Dean's Remarks, Reception & Dinner - Franklin Hall is located just east of Sample Gates on the northeast corner of Kirkwood and Indiana Avenues

Dean Idie Kesner, PhD'83, will give an update on the many recent successes and future initiatives of the School, including the branding initiative. Take time to visit with your classmates seated around you and reminisce about “the good old days.” There will also be opportunities for class pictures and group photos.
Sunday - September 29
You're on your own to hang out on campus, enjoy a recovery brunch at the Tudor Room or Village Deli, or whatever else strikes your fancy before heading back home!
Not going to be able to attend but would still like to participate?
