Mike (MBA'02) took the position of Director of Finance and R&D at Human Genome Scieces in Washington, D.C., an emerging pharmaceutical company with the mission to predict, prevent, detect, treat and cure disease. When he got there, he needed to hire a manager who knew analytic modeling, strategic design, and implementation. "I knew I needed someone with a Kelley skill set and way of thinking." He called Scott (MBA '09), who he had worked with at Pfizer, and made him an offer. Mike said, "In filling a key finance position, I knew the Kelley alumni network was the my most valuable asset."
