At Ingersoll Rand, Kevin (BS ’98) reported to VP of Marketing, Brian (MBA ’08). Throughout the time they worked together, Brian acted not just a boss, but a mentor. "He understood how things work and helped me settle in; he helped me navigate the culture and understand the leadership team in ways I could easily understand due to our Kelley backgrounds," Kevin said. Recently, when Kevin was looking to change roles within the company, he knew he could count on his mentor to be candid. "Kelley people really care about each other. Brian gave me inspiration for where my career could take me. He helped me realize the benefits of making a change, leading me to this exciting new position with Ingersoll Rand."
