Carolyn (BS ’02) felt hesitant about her summer internship at Baxter Healthcare Corp until Melissa (BS '91) stepped up. Melissa mentored Carolyn to ensure she learned marketable skills and worked on high value projects. "She kept in touch with me to make sure I was having a great experience and got involved to the point of finding an area that was a good fit," said Carolyn, who ended up taking a permanent position at Baxter upon graduation. "No one has taken the extra step like Melissa." Carolyn is working in NYC now and joined the Alumni Leadership Network. "A Kelley alum watched out for me, now I want to give back."
