Eric (MBA '12), took on the leadership role of planning a trip to Brazil for MBA students. Luckily for him, a globally strong Alumni Network made it easer. Eric contacted Kristina (MBA '06), a brand manager at Merck in NYC, who he met during his first year in the program. She put Eric in touch with Merck's director of marketing in Brazil, and the entire student group enjoyed a corporate visit, including presentations on a "Day in the Life of" 2 brand managers. The students also visited Cummins, where they met alum Marco (MBA '09), a former student of the group's faculty leader, Roberto Garcia. Roberto had Marco relive his student days by posing a number of course-related questions, all of which Marco answered - this made for an interesting and entertaining exchange for the current students!
