Your Possibilities: Kelley students, meet your future employers. Employers, meet your future executives.
The Kelley School’s Undergraduate Career Services (UCSO) and Graduate Career Services (GCS) offices connect talented, well-prepared Kelley students with leading organizations of all sizes, in every industry, around the world.
In-Demand Students, Top Employers
It’s no secret: Top employers worldwide seek to hire Kelley students. In 2011-12, more than 630 companies hired Kelley undergraduate and graduate students. Within 90 days after graduation, 93% of our actively seeking undergraduate students reported a full-time job or graduate school acceptance.
100% of our MBAs received summer internships and 95% of our students accepted job offers within 90 days of graduation.
Notable Starting Salaries
A Kelley education is a wise investment. The median starting salaries for Kelley undergraduates average up to 15% higher than the national average of median business salaries reported by the National Association of Colleges and Employers in 2012. In addition, our graduate students find that earning an MBA or specialized master’s degree pays off with a substantial increase over their previous salaries.
Superior Career Services
The Kelley School’s career services are considered among the best in the country. In Businessweek’s 2011 undergraduate rankings, Kelley earned an A+ for job placement—a reflection on the quality of our students and the many ways we connect them with employers.
UCSO and GCS help Kelley students find careers that match their goals and learn the skills to manage their careers. We also help employers meet their hiring goals in all areas of business, from accounting to operations. We can help you:
- Map out your career plan and reach your goals. Our career services staff work one-on-one with students to help them reach their goals. Between counseling and programming, GCS dedicates an estimated 80 hours to each graduate student’s professional development.
- Audition for a full-time job. Internships are the perfect opportunity for students to try out a career and for employers to see what students can do. Employers rave about how prepared Kelley interns are—able to hit the ground running.
- Connect with employers. We connect students and employers through events such as roundtables, a unique way for employers get to know small groups of students. For on-campus interviews, UCSO has 37 private interview rooms with the latest technology, and Kelley alumni frequently return to campus to recruit and conduct mock interviews.
- Take advantage of the latest career services technology. We’re a leader in career services technology, from online professional development courses to video interviewing with employers thousands of miles away. Employers search and prioritize student resumes using our continuously updated online resume book system, and students have online calendars and interactive reminders to help keep track of their interviews.
