Rick Dupree joined the Office of Development in July of 1996 as Executive Director, and became Assistant Dean with the union of the Development and Alumni offices in April of 2008. A senior development professional for 20+ years, Rick’s extensive background in higher education, the performing arts, and the systems and metrics involved in the evaluation of fundraising professionals has made him a sought-after presenter to and counsel for numerous non-profits in the U.S., Hungary and the United Kingdom. Prior to his post at Indiana, he served on the alumni/development staff at the University of Evansville and as Director of Major Gifts and Managing Director of Capital Campaigns at Michigan’s acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts. Rick holds the BM in Performance ('80) with High Honors from the University of Evansville and is founding member and principal of "Richard K. Dupree & Associates, LLC".
