LaMarr (MBA '11) - 03/26/2012

LaMarr (MBA '11) had secured full-time employment after graduation in Chicago, but his wife was looking for a new employment opportunity. LaMarr contacted the Alumni Office and attended alumni events in New York and Chicago to make contacts in the hospitality industry to connect with his wife. He met Therese, (BS '83), General Manager at the Westin NY Times Square. Through a variety of connections from that meeting, LaMarr's wife found a job at a global insurance and finance conglomerate in Chicago that utilizes her hospitality and tourism background. LaMarr decided to become a Lifetime member of the Alumni Association and says "I'd like to be helpful in any way that I can from an alumni perspective."
