Dr. Yonker is an assistant professor in the finance department at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
He holds a PhD in business administration with a concentration in finance from The Ohio State University (2010), where his advisers were Rene Stulz and Andrew Karolyi. Dr. Yonker also holds an MA in economics from Duke University (2001) and a BS in mathematics from Bowling Green State University (1998). He has been a CFA charterholder since 2005.
His primary research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, behavioral finance, investments, and empirical asset pricing. Most of his research focuses on how characteristics and traits of managers influence the important economic decisions that they make.
