An Entrepreneurial Hotspot

Bloomington consistently ranks in the top 20 in Forbes.com’s list of Best Small Places for Business and Careers. Naturally, Kelley alumni have been a big part of Bloomington’s business success. Lyle Feigenbaum, BS’90, and his wife, Kerry, co-founded the Scholars Inn, which has expanded to several locations in Bloomington and Indianapolis.
In fact, many successful Bloomington businesses are the efforts of Kelley and IU students. (It’s no wonder, with our enterprising students and top-ranked program in entrepreneurship.) Recent IU entrepreneurs have started Baked of Bloomington, a custom cookie store that delivers, and Btownmenus.com, an online service providing restaurant menus and online ordering.
